The Home Ranger® Knee Pulley provides patients with both rehab exercise assistance and pain relief in one simple device. Use it for flexion and extension range of motion exercises, as well as for self-administered “distraction” to ease knee joint pain in osteoarthritis and knee replacement patients.
Combining PrePak’s high quality, market-leading Sure Track Pulley® with our innovative new Handshoe™ Foot Hammock, the Home Ranger® Knee Pulley is built to improve exercise compliance at home between clinic visits — and to provide a healthy dose of drug-free knee pain relief whenever needed.
“I had a bilateral Total Knee Replacement seven weeks ago and was very frustrated because my knees were so swollen and sore I could barely perform the exercises I’d been prescribed. The first time I used the knee pulley I felt immediate relief, so much so when I went to bed that evening I was able to sleep through the entire night for the first time, without using pain medication. Not only does the knee pulley continue to provide pain relief but the swelling in my knees has also been noticeably reduced. I no longer feel frustrated and am confident of a full recovery because now I’m able to do my exercises with much less pain.”

Usually, your healthcare professional will allow you to start using the Knee Pulley as soon as you get home from the hospital, but consult with them first.
We suggest you use the Home Ranger™ Knee Pulley three times per day. Your surgeon or physical therapist may recommend knee replacement patients and those with osteoarthritic knees to perform the joint distraction phase to decrease pain even more frequently.
Discomfort yes, pain no. Reaching your full range of motion goal is a gradual process. Stop or back off on the use of the Knee Pulley if you are experiencing pain and contact your physician or therapist.
The knee pulley’s joint distraction capability (instruction booklet, pages 5-6) can help reduce pain. Flexion and extension exercises performed with the knee pulley improve range of motion.
A slight pull on the knee joint. It relieves joint pressure and reduces pain. It is used by many physical therapists in the clinic.
Manual distraction is most frequently used with knee replacement patients and those with osteoarthritis. Always check with your doctor or physical therapist before using.
Simple and easy to use. Very effective in rehabing the knee after partial reconstruction.

I’ve had a lot of success with people using this product and having good results when working to increase their flexion/extension ROM. The people have been able to set it up for themselves and use the brochure for information if they need it.
